Taking Food
When you’re vegan and taking food to a family member or friend that needs a little extra help and food is the way to show love- it can be difficult to know what to take.
Most people do Mac & cheese, or lasagne or meat or casserole of sorts typically loaded with dairy & meat.
I have made a few things recently for some family & friends.
My go to is Tom’s Goulash. It’s quick & simple with easy ingredients and little prep. I can also make a big batch & have enough to feed my family too.
I love to make banana bread or any vegan quick bread, and fruit salad. A green salad is always great too. I’ve taken vegetable soup, cauliflower lentil soup, red beans and rice and other rice & quinoa dishes too.
Here’s a picture of my most recent batch that my husband will be taking to a family member. It’s the goulash, pumpkin banana nut bread, and seasonal fruit salad with the most amazing fruits.
