Teriyaki Tofu

This is so yummy! I served this tofu with teriyaki stir-fry but next time I will make a sandwich with slaw oh man it’s going to be good!

Ingredients:
-1 extra firm tofu pack
-1 Tbs olive oil
– your favorite teriyaki sauce – about 1/4 cup
– 2-5 Tbs crushed pineapple

Here’s how I did the tofu:

(I had frozen extra firm tofu)
Defrost tofu and put between two towels with a heavy plate or book on top & allow the moisture to drain out. Slice into 8 pieces or more (depending on how thick you want your slices).
Heat some olive oil in a large pan then fry the tofu until golden on both sides. Put in a few table spoons of crushed pineapple and teriyaki until it thickens up in the pan.
Serve the teriyaki tofu with stir fry & rice, in a sandwich, on a pizza, or as an appetizer- the possibilities are endless!!
